Anasuya R. J. - Federal U.S. District Court - Los Angeles, CA, 2019

Our client was the defendant in a $1 million dollar harassment and defamation lawsuit filed against her by her ex-partner after a bitter divorce. To make things more complicated, our client was a native of India and was attempting to defend her case self-represented as a non-English speaker. This match-up in federal court would have been disastrous without the right assistance.

When our client came to us, her case was almost too far gone to save, but we rushed to get her case back on track. It was too late to file a motion to dismiss, so we decided to attack the complaint by filing a motion for judgment on the pleadings. Our team performed the legal research and came up with a bullet proof arguments. We attacked the complaint that this was at its core a family law dispute misfiled in federal court. Our next argument was that the basis of our client’s position was entirely religious, based upon the culture in her native country of India.  And, this fact being what it is, the only proper jurisdiction was to send the case back to India.

The plaintiff's attorney gave a gallant effort and wrote a great brief to try and defeat our argument.  Our team rose to the challenge and wrote an expert reply brief to unravel the opposition brief in our reply. This was the knockout punch!

Months went by because the federal court took the matter into submission.  Finally we received the ruling.  Our motion was granted. The entire case was dismissed.  Our federal motion for judgment on the pleadings and the reply paper go down as being one of the most significant victories of our company.  Had it not been for our service, our client would not have stood a chance. Justice only prevailed because of us.

randy r. - superior court of california, 2020

One of our most recent success stories was from our client who was the petitioner in a civil case against a local county. Our client invested in a property that ended up being foreclosed on. The respondent in this case took possession of the property and never made our client whole-again after the lien was filed.

Our client came to us wanting to file a lawsuit against the county to obtain the money owed to them from the property. We immediately got to work on preparing the Motion for Writ of Mandate against the county to correct its prior actions. The respondent filed a opposition to our writ of mandate and we proceeded to prepare a reply brief to their opposition. This left the respondent with no other choice then to settle! Instead of facing an embarrassing judgment against them, the respondent settled with our client for every dime he originally claimed he was owed.
